Sunday, May 21st, Keith’s EAA Chapter 1060, out of Grand Ledge, hosted their annual Fly-In and pancake breakfast. They actually made a profit this year, which doesn’t happen too often I’m told. Yay Chapter 1060. Here are some photos of the event:
The Cherokee 6 – A member’s plane
Not sure what it is, Keith will edit later
Another member airplane: Kitfox Vixen and RV-6
Young Eagles ride in a Cherokee
The EAA Mascot, the Starlite. Kids love this little plane.
There were also classic cars there. This is my favorite, an Oldsmobile.
And this is the big Kahuna. Keith, and everyone, absolutely loved this airplane. I don’t quite think the lines on it are very aesthetic, but apparently it appeals to all the men in the EAA. 🙂 Go figure. Anyway, it is a Grumman Goose.
Hope you enjoy the pics. The fly-in was a lot of fun. If there is one in your area, I encourage you to go. Lots of planes, cars, and people who just love to talk about them.
