Keith ran his first 5K of the season this year. Last Saturday, RivRunners, our running group at Riverview church, hosted a 5K to benefit the “Little Rays of Light” orphanage in Monterrey, MX. We raised $1500 (yahoo!) and had 90 participants. This far exceeded the expectations for the event, and showed us yet again that God is a great provider. Keith finished the race in 5th place… and if you ask him, if he didn’t have a stroller to push and if he hadn’t knocked his water bottle off of it, along with the iPod and various other items that he stopped to pick up, he would have placed higher. His ending time was 22:19, just behind the third and fourth place finishers and not far behind second. First place was 19 minutes even.
Fifth place finishers scored this as the prize:
(And since Levi technically came in before Keith, he gets it.)
And other random assorted pictures through the last month. It’s been beautiful out and Levi LOVES playing outside. Especially with Lightening McQueen. And he has this fascination with being in, well, just being in… boxes, Lightening’s underseat compartment, bowls, whatever. He loves it, as you can see…

Go Levi, you little 5k rider you. 🙂 Way to coach your daddy into the prize winning bracket.
