Happy New Year!

I trust you all had a safe New Years Celebration! We had a nice, quiet evening with friends from church and I toasted in the New Year with Welch’s finest. ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s been a bit since I’ve updated, but we’ve been busy. I finished the semester off without getting sick again until finals week. I four-pointed this semester! I got a nasty sinus infection that took two courses of antibiotics to get rid of. Meanwhile Keith has been very busy at work; there are only two managers left in his department now (down from four) because of transfers or promotions, so he and the other manager have been working between 60-70 hours a week. Thank goodness for Christmas – otherwise he wouldn’t have had a day off.

We’ve also decided to put our house up for sale. Right now we are doing some minor aesthetic work to get it ready to sell. With Keith working so much it’s been hard to squeeze in time, but we are just about ready to list it. I just have to finish painting the hallway and add a few other touches and do a super thorough clean.

Pregnancy wise, things are looking great and on track. We have our next appointment on the third and will start going to our appointments every two weeks since I am in the third trimester already! Can you believe it? It seems to have gone by so quickly, and we are so not ready for this little tyke to come yet. There is so much left to do. Anyway, I have yet to post any of my preggo belly pictures for anyone’s viewing pleasure, so I think I’ll post them now. I’ve been taking them about once a month since 16 weeks, so there is quite a change. Here they are, starting at 16w2d. I then “popped” at 16w6d. Next was Halloween, at 18w6d. Then 21w5d and last week at 27w1d (Thursday).

It won’t be long now, less than 3 months. We’ve sent in our hospital preregistration forms, signed up for birthing classes and will register for the baby showers tomorrow. We bought the crib bedding, and before anyone says we know the gender, we do NOT know still. The crib bedding, however, is just perfect for our personalities and I think with a little work I can make it a pretty gender neutral room. There are plenty of talented female aviators as well as male. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope everyone has a splendid New Year and wish you all lots of health and happiness in the year to come!
